Hands down the best customer service. Not only did they fit my battery under its warranty but they pulled up a few issues found that I was unaware of as I had just taken it to the mechanic and was told all is well. Terry and Gareth explained the issues, how to fix them, did a few fixes on spot and had me on my way in no time. Cannot recommend them enough.
Such a lovely team, and very efficient! Was greeted by Terry, who explained my options clearly and even entertained the baby while I moved the car into the drive through station, and then got the battery checked and new one placed by Gareth in about 15mins! Seamless speed : 13-3-26. Suspecting the battery in my Golf was nearing end of life, I drove straight to Battery World Rocklea. Upon arrival a sign invited me to “drive inside” the workshop. One way in and one way out. Plenty of room and a spotless highly functional workshop. Two guys were working away — they came over immediately. Lifted the bonnet. Digital scan and printout confirmed battery was at 20% of its rated 700 cranking amps. New battery installed in minutes. A few jokes and friendly banter as I settled the bill and I was soon driving away feeling assured. That’s how it should be. Outstanding positive service with no angst. Confident competent staff.
I can’t thank this team enough. My car broke down at my daughter’s school yesterday when the battery died, and it was absolutely pouring with rain. Within 20 minutes, a lovely young technician arrived, replaced the battery, and got me going again with no fuss at all. He was so kind, calm, and professional, which really helped during a stressful situation. Outstanding service — I would 100% recommend them to anyone.

Battery World franchisee Leif, who also owns Browns Plains, is an experienced electrician and engineer who has flicked the switch on a new era of powering the southside community. Leif also holds a Bachelor of Business in mining and previously worked as a project manager at a manganese mine on Groote Eylandt before relocating to Brisbane with his wife and children. His interstate experience, along with a love of boating and fishing, gave him strong knowledge of battery systems. Leif is excited by the way technology helps Australians stay powered, whether camping, boating, or picnicking in the park, and is especially focused on expanding dual battery fitments and 4x4 solutions through his large on-site fitting bay.
