I was advised to go to Battery World at Lawnton yesterday for help after my car had to be jump started. The staff there were very friendly and helpful, my battery was tested, which was dead of course, and he installed a new battery straight away for me. And thats the case here; We recently found ourselves with a small electrical issue, which in itself had the potential to become a rather serious problem. So while travelling through the Brisbane, I paid a visit to Battery World at Lawnton. James was more than happy to help me get the problem sorted. He was a great person to talk to and explained things to me in a language that I could understand. David, owner of Battery World Lawnton, brings a unique background to the store. A former Air Force musician, he entertained troops in Iraq and Afghanistan before opening his first Battery World in Penrith. When the Lawnton store became available, he jumped at the chance to make Queensland home. Before his military career, David was an electrician, and today he draws on that expertise to help customers with their battery needs. A father of seven, he knows the value of keeping appliances and devices running without unnecessary costs – whether it’s finding the right battery for an old camcorder or a modern phone. The Lawnton store also specialises in dual battery systems for caravans and recreational vehicles in its fully equipped workshop. Deeply community-minded, David supports local sports clubs and charities, always striving to keep Lawnton powered and connected.
