The Battery World Woolloongabba store has officially relocated to Greenslopes — and you couldn’t find a more experienced duo to lead the way than Steve and Julie Minter.

Already well-known for running Battery World Capalaba, Cannon Hill, and Macgregor, Steve and Julie bring their expertise and buying power to Greenslopes to ensure the store is always stocked with the latest and greatest in battery solutions.

The move to Greenslopes reflects their passion for keeping customers powered up and ready to go, with a bigger focus on accessibility, convenience, and service for the local community.

Steve certainly knows technology. He’s spent 23 years on platform rigs from New Zealand to Japan — and everywhere in between — building and operating ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles) for the oil and gas industry.

Julie brings her own expertise to the table, with a strong background in electrical and power tools, and together they’re dedicated to solving customers’ power problems and providing outstanding service.

The relocated Greenslopes store is committed to supporting the community with initiatives like battery recycling and 24-hour roadside assistance. You can drop off your old domestic batteries for recycling — from car batteries to AAs — and the team also supports school recycling programs. They’re proud to have fundraised for Guide Dogs Australia and Soldier On, a charity supporting returned service veterans.
