This place is absolutely brilliant! Got my car battery replaced here today and they even did the installation for free. The staff are super friendly and, more importantly, really know their stuff. A few other mechanics told me my car’s battery was tricky to replace, but the team here handled it with ease and explained everything so patiently. And to top it off — the owner speaks Mandarin! A former British Royal Air Force Corporal, Steve was part of the Tactical Communications Wing, responsible for setting up communications and radar for mobile airfields. Once established, he maintained machinery from tanks to refueling trucks, work that took him across the globe from Africa to Scandinavia. When his brother moved to Australia, Steve followed and brought his technical expertise with him. Today, he and his family run Battery World Chatswood, combining military precision with a commitment to customer service, solving power problems big and small.
