Battery World Chatswood

This place is absolutely brilliant! Got my car battery replaced here today and they even did the installation for free. The staff are super friendly and, more importantly, really know their stuff. A few other mechanics told me my car’s battery was tricky to replace, but the team here handled it with ease and explained everything so patiently. And to top it off — the owner speaks Mandarin! Six stars from me, highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ FIVE STARS Look, I don’t usually write reviews, but after my experience at Battery World, I felt morally obligated to warn—or congratulate—humanity. I walked in looking for AA batteries. I walked out with: A 12-pack of “AAAAA+ Ultra Supreme Volts” A coupon for “One Free Lightning Bolt (domesticated, not wild)” And a firm handshake from a man who introduced himself as “Captain, Assistant Regional Charge Sorcerer.” The shop itself is incredible. The front door shocks you just enough to say hello, the floor hums like a beehive full of caffeine, and every shelf is organised by “vibe,” not size. When I asked where the 9-volts were, Captain pointed toward a glowing portal and said, “Row three, next to the batteries that scream.” I also watched a guy return a car battery because it “kept trying to escape.” The staff didn’t even blink. They just wrangled it like a rogue goat and offered him a store credit. Their prices? Unbelievable. No seriously, completely unbelievable. I paid $4.99 and a small lie about my childhood for a whole pack of batteries. Still cheaper than anywhere else. Overall: 10/10. Would absolutely return. But next time I’m bringing gloves… and maybe a priest.

Gary and Max were so careful and attentive to changing the battery in my Mercedes classic car. I have been to Chatswood before for a different car and went back because of the good service. Can recommend!

Went to Battery World this morning and Gaz really looked after me. I’d called the night before and the staff were super helpful then too. Gaz took the time, gave great advice, and sorted the battery on the spot. Really good service. Friendly and easy to deal with.
