Battery World Delivery Policy
Battery World is proud to offer you a delivery option suited to your shopping preferences.
At Battery World we have two delivery options for orders over $50:
- FREE standard delivery (3-7 business days Metro) (10-15 business days Regional)
- Same day delivery for $10 incl. GST. Please be advised that we have a cut-off time of 1pm, orders made after this time are delivered the next day. Same day delivery is only available for items that are in stock and not available for ‘Low Stock’ or ‘Special Order’ products.
At Battery World we have one delivery option for orders under $50:
- Standard delivery for $10 incl. GST.
PLEASE NOTE: Orders under $50 are only eligible for delivery from Metropolitan and participating Regional stores.
Delivery is available during store business hours, Monday to Friday. Delivery on a Saturday is at the discretion of the store. Delivery is not available on Sundays and Public Holidays. The store will contact you prior to delivery to work out the best suitable time for you.
For both options, delivery is only guaranteed within a 10km radius of the store the product is being purchased from. If you are outside of this 10km radius, your purchase may still be delivered but may incur an additional charge. Your local store will be in touch to discuss options for you.
Delivery is only available within Australia. You or a person nominated on your order must be available to receive and sign for the delivery. For security reasons deliveries cannot be left unattended and without being signed for.
Standard delivery provides a 3 – 7 business day window for delivery in metro areas only. In the instance your order is unable to be delivered within this timeframe your local store will contact you to confirm delivery timeframes. Participating regional stores endeavour to deliver within a 10 – 15 business day window.
Unable to Delivery
Every effort will be made to ensure your order will be delivered in line with your delivery preference or either standard or same day delivery for $10. However in the unlikely event that the item is out of stock or cannot be received by our suppliers in time for your specified delivery method, you will be contacted by the store to discuss the updated estimated time of delivery, or offered an alternative suitable product as agreed between both you and the store.
Cancelling Your Order
Should you wish to cancel your order for any reason, please contact the store to discuss your options. They will be happy to assist wherever possible.
Fitment & Installations
We understand that some batteries and accessories are difficult to fit at home. Battery World are here to help and can provide fitment and installation of your purchase. Battery Fitment and/or installations are available at an additional charge. Fitment and installation is not available on all products. Please contact your local store for more details on availability and pricing. You can also discuss this when the store contacts you to arrange your delivery time.
Disposal of Goods
Battery World endeavours to make all reasonable efforts to contact the customer to collect their goods whether bought online or instore; on behalf of another customer; or after repairs are conducted. However, if after a period of 6 months the customer is uncontactable, this order or collection will be disposed of, or if still saleable, put back into stock.
