I cannot praise the customer service here high enough. I am so grateful for the amazing service and information that Maggie gave me. She is so incredibly knowledgeable and explained things to me in a way that I could understand. Nothing was too much to ask, and she even offered to stay back to help me out with my camper van leisure battery. She also gave me excellent alternatives to what I thought was going to be a massive overhaul of my auto-electric system, so I am so grateful for Maggie! Brendan was also amazing when I returned to have the battery reinstalled after being tested overnight. Nothing was a problem and he helped me problem solve another side issue whilst he was on the tools. This place is amazing and I’ll always comeback here for advice and to buy quality products. I went here on Monday 19th January to get my battery tested and ended up needing a new one. I think the staff member’s name was Jarred, he was bloody brilliant. He was the only one in the shop at the time and it was very busy, he was super friendly to all customers and explained who was next and roughly how long he would be. Regarding my battery, he was all over it, super knowledgeable and explained everything perfectly to me. Installed the new battery faster than I could watch a few Tik Tok videos and I was paid and on my way in no time. I would absolutely return to this Battery World because of his service and technical knowledge. An absolute asset to the business.
These guys really know their stuff. Friendly efficient prompt service. They were on their way in ten minutes from my call. Also being an auto electrician they can pick up issues and advise on related options rather than just change a battery. I was shown how to jump start, using my standard fitted reserve battery, without using jumper leads. Which means I won’t get caught out again with a flat main battery.
We just experienced the best customer service ever here today, on Nov. 17, 2025! The two guys helped us with connecting an external battery with the car battery—they are extremely knowledgeable and competent and explained everything they were doing. So happy we decided to go there for advice!
My wife’s Maserati needed a new battery & if you know anything about Maseratis you’ll know that changing batteries is not a simple task. So I called Maserati in Sydney looking for a recommendation around Newcastle. They recommended Battery World at Gateshead & I’m so glad they did.
