Belconnen Franchise Partners open brand-new store
After a record year, local Battery World Franchise Partners, Babar Khan and Shahbaz Khan have opened a brand-new Battery World store in Gungahlin.
Following a 27 per cent growth year on year at their Belconnen store, the partners saw the chance to expand their territory into the neighbouring area of Gungahlin, bringing the same high-quality service they are known for within the Belconnen community.
An advocate for the value that Battery World stores offer local communities, Babar said they opened the new store as they knew just how important it is in providing essential products and services to the local community.
“We have been a part of the Belconnen community for three years now, and even in that short period of time we have come to realise the pivotal role we play in servicing local customers,” Babar said.
“Our customers are our main priority, and there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the look of relief on a customer’s face when we have successfully helped them with their battery needs.
“And in doing so, we’ve realised the untapped potential of Battery World and our services to serve those within the surrounding areas too.”
Not only does Babar and his team keep the community recharged through high quality, Aussie-made products and expert advice but his passion for his community sees him making a positive difference to the next generation of sport stars too.
“For us, being able to power the passion of our customers and communities is why we do what we do. We’re proud to be sponsoring our local cricket team, the Canberra Chargers, as well as the Canberra Cricket Championship to support the pro cricketers of the future and power their passion for the sport.
Battery World’s General Manager, Johnny Kennedy is proud to witness the network’s resilience and passion for the brand.
“It’s exciting to see the network press towards a common goal of delivering fantastic service and expertise to power the passion of their customers,” Johnny said.
“It is clear that Babar and his team stand behind their community and I am excited to see what’s to come for the new Gungahlin store.”
