Battery World Acquisition Charges Ahead for Paramatta and Ryde

With the recent acquisition of two Battery World stores in Parramatta and Ryde (NSW), Franchise Partner Daniel Fenech, has powered on to own the most stores in Battery World’s network of more than 110 stores across Australia.

Mr Fenech now owns seven stores including Caringbah, Bankstown, Liverpool, Kirrawee and South Nowra.

Since acquiring the stores, most have experienced significant growth and profit, including Kirrawee and South Nowra which achieved double digit growth from 2020-2021 (17.95% and 13.85% respectively), and he hopes to carry on this success to his new acquisitions.

“The acquisition of these two stores in Parramatta and Ryde was an obvious and exciting choice for me. I feel privileged to be in a position where I can help power so many Australians and now, I’m able to provide this service to even more communities,” Mr Fenech said.

“I plan to gain an understanding of our customers’ unique needs before making any major changes to the current stores offerings or layouts.

“The last couple of years have been an exceedingly difficult for so many and I hope to use these stores to continue supporting the residents of New South Wales communities,” he said.

Mr Fenech’s future with Battery World looks bright with his vision to expand his own network of stores.

“A multi-site network is something that has been of interest to me for a long time,” Mr Fenech said.

“I’d like to reach 10 stores by 2025.

“As the world moves toward more portable solutions, batteries are essential to this changing world, and I’m looking forward to continuing to learn with the changing technology.”

The acquisition of the Parramatta and Ryde stores sparked excitement from Battery World’s General Manager Johnny Kennedy.

“I’m delighted to watch Mr Fenech continue to grow his team and become owner of the largest number of Battery World stores in the network,” said Mr Kennedy.

“Mr Fenech has shown great resilience through the pandemic and is a leading example amongst the Battery World team. These two new acquisitions are a testament to his outstanding commitment to the community and I’m excited to watch him power the passion of Parramatta and Ryde locals to new heights.”
