Meet the owners

At the helm of Battery World Warrnambool you’ll find mates David Mathison and Chris Thompson who are the faces behind the town’s one stop shop for batteries.

For the last eight year they have been a familiar sight on the Warrnambool commerce landscape where they aim to deliver the best possible customer service they can.

With a background as a diesel mechanic, David enjoys the challenge of using his practical skills to help out customers. The pair loves the evolution of the technology of batteries and the never-ending source of challenges each day in keeping their customers powered up even when they don’t really know there is a battery in their appliance.

The Battery World Warrnambool team not only delivers exceptional customer service, they love being able to fix people’s problems and give them a solution to their power issues and troubles.

Warrnambool has a strong commitment to their local community through recycling. They happily take in your old domestic batteries for recycling from cars to AAs, along with supporting school recycling initiatives. They support fundraising for Camp Quality, Bravehearts, drought relief for farmers and autism research.

They also support the Show and Shine Car Show. The duo are committed to safety: often giving away replacement smoke alarm batteries as part of an annual campaign to keep home safe. Adding to all of this they support Legacy, their local schools through annual auctions and sponsor the local footy and golf clubs.
