Meet the owners
Battery World’s Deena Moodley moved to Australia from South Africa around 20 years ago but has happily been a Castle Hill local ever since.
His background is diverse, from owning an automotive parts business in South Africa to management in transport and logistics industries here in Sydney.
He yearned to be his own boss working close to home so when the opportunity presented to buy the Castle Hill Battery World store, he jumped at it.
With a wealth of experience as a previous business owner, Deena understands customer service and product knowledge is of utmost importance in today’s retail economy and continually strives to achieve this.
His team is quick to assist with all your battery needs from a simple key remote to caravan, truck and camping requirements.
Battery World Castle Hill supports recycling initiatives and in-store recycling for most types of old and disused batteries, from AA’s to car and truck batteries.
You might see a Guide Dog in his store that is because Deena along with the Battery World network of stores are fundraising to train two dogs for Australia’s most trusted charity – Guide Dogs Australia. Previously the store has also supported children’s charities like Camp Quality, Bravehearts, Cancer Council NSW and Westmead Children’s Hospital.
