Meet the owners
Paul and Madeline Blundell Williams are the husband and wife power duo behind Balcatta Battery World.
The duo migrated to Perth from the UK eight years ago and love working and living locally. With a background as a mechanic Paul had his own business in the UK involving trucks, diggers and skips so knows his way around changing a battery or two. In Perth he worked in health and safety with the WA Water Corp before deciding to be his own boss with his battery World store.
Making sure the sums always add up, Madeline is not only a former school teacher – who did math’s extension programs for Sci-Tech in Perth but she was also an accountant for Rio Tinto. Together they ensure they deliver the very best in customer service – going the extra mile. They love being able to fix people’s problems and give them a solution to their power issues and troubles.
Madeline and Paul understand we are trying to get more out of our devices so stock batteries for more than 8000 gadgets and devices – from your older model mobile phone to the very latest in remotes for your garage door. Needless to say his team is quick to help you with caravan, camping and marine needs to keeping your laptop and mobile power charged.
Battery World has a strong commitment to their local community supporting children’s charities like Camp Quality and Bravehearts, to drought relief for farmers and autism research. They also support recycling initiatives through school and in-store recycling for all types of disused batteries - happily taking in your old domestic batteries for recycling from cars to AAs.
